Before you type a password: the only legitimate address for this page is imapsync.digitalsitech.me, over HTTPS. If you arrived from an unexpected link, or the address bar shows anything else, stop and report it — nobody will ever email you a link asking for your mailbox password. Your password is used to log in once, is never written to disk, and is not stored after the run.

Work down the ladder. Steps 1–3 copy nothing and cannot alter either mailbox. Only step 4 writes, and it only ever writes to the destination — the source is opened read-only and is never modified or deleted from. Re-running step 4 is safe: already-copied messages are recognised and skipped.

Maintenance — duplicate cleanup

Only needed if a mailbox was copied twice. Preview first — it reports what it would remove without touching anything. Deletion affects the destination only; the source is never modified.
